Denly stars as Karachi thrash Multan

Opener scores 78 off 55 in Kings 63-win on Saturday

Karachi Kings thrashed Multan Sultans by 63 runs in the 22^nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai on Saturday.

After being put into bat first, Kings posted a mammoth total of 188 for the loss of three wickets.



The star of the show for the eventual winners was opener Joe Denly, who scored 78 off 55 with the help of 10 fours and two sixes.

He was well-supported by young Babar Azam, who scored 58 off 39 with the help of six fours and one six.

In reply, Sultans were bowled out for 125 in the final over of the play.

All-rounder Sohail Tanvir finished the innings with the top score of 34 not out off 29 balls.

For Kings, veteran leg-spinner Shahid Afridi was the pick of the bowler as he claimed three wickets and gave away just 18 runs.
