Getting closer to industry: NUML holds first corporate advisory board meeting

Encourages introduction of faculty training programmes to find new avenues for businesses

In a bid to close the gap between the industry and academia, NUML held its first Corporate Advisory Board meeting. During the meeting, National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Faculty of Management Sciences sat down with 12 board members from the corporate sector to seek suggestions and proposals from the corporate sector to amend the curriculum per the demands of the industry and businesses.

In the meeting, it was suggested that faculty training programmes should be introduced to find new avenues for businesses. It was also proposed that industry will assist NUML on the future demands of the industry to design the curriculum accordingly.
