HYDERABAD: The federal government has devolved 16 different institutions of special education to Sindh, but their condition is no better than the provincial institutions, said Special Education Provincial Secretary Syed Muhammad Ali Shah on Monday.

Speaking at a ceremony at Mumtaz Mirza auditorium, for the free distribution of school uniforms, textbooks and bags among special children by the centre of special education, he said that so far institutions have been established in 14 districts and more will be set up as well.

Shah said that the centres have been shifted to government buildings and the staff has also been appointed.
