Smooth Traffic Flow: ‘Remove encroachments from city roads’

BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur Commissioner Saqib Zafar has said that encroachments should be removed from all important roads of the city. He added that negligence in this regard will not be tolerated, while a proper plan of action should be adapted to control the flow of traffic during rush hour. He issued these directives while chairing a meeting on Wednesday. Regional Police Officer Raja Riffat Mukhtar, Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal, District Police Officer Mustansar Feroz and other officials were present. The commissioner directed the officials that traffic signals should be made effective.
