Education: GCU gets funding for library

HECP has also approved construction work on a new Basic Science Block for the campus.

FAISALABAD: A state-of-the-art library equipped with modern facilities including books and the latest journals will be established in Government College University, Faisalabad (GCUF) at a cost of Rs20,000,000.

A GCUF spokesperson said that the Higher Education Department Punjab had approved the construction of a modern library and work on this project would commence within three weeks.

He also revealed that HECP has also approved construction work on a new Basic Science Block for the campus. Under this project, a GCUF mosque will also be constructed within the next two weeks.
