KMU to host research conferences 

'Visibility of Pakistani Journals in International Arena: A Challenge'

PESHAWAR: The KMU and Pakistan Association of Medical Editors (PAME) is organizing a two-day national conference of medical journal editors. While the office of research, innovation and commercialisation (ORIC) is organising the ninth International Annual Health Research Conference.

The conferences will be held on March 3-4 and March5-7, respectively at the multi-purpose hall. The theme of the PAME conference is “Visibility of Pakistani Journals in International Arena: A Challenge”.

The conference will be attended by editors and editorial teams of medical journals published from Pakistan, authors, researchers from across the country will also participate in the conference.

Whereas the annual health research conferences organized by KMU-ORIC will have a theme of “research priorities in the SDG era” and the aim is to identify areas of need and reach a consensus among the stakeholders for the setting up of short and long-term research priorities for K-P.
