Cricket: Floodlit Tests to be debated

LONDON: The International Cricket Council (ICC) will meet this week at Lord’s to consider the prospects of floodlit Test cricket.

They will mainly debate whether sufficient progress has been made in day/night first-class matches to warrant a trial at the top level.

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), represented by Chief Executive Keith Bradshaw, has been experimenting with floodlit first-class cricket having staged two matches against the Champion County in Abu Dhabi.

The committee will also discuss whether any alterations are needed in One-Day internationals.
