Balochistan Unrest: Snatching of NGO vehicle foiled

QUETTA: A bid to snatch vehicle of a non-governmental organization (NGO) was foiled in Gandakha area of Jaffarabad district. “The staffers of the NGO riding in their vehicle were conducting survey on losses due to floods in the area, when unidentified armed men tried to snatch their vehicle at gunpoint”, Levies sources said on Saturday. The NGO staffers resisted which forced the robbers to flee. The stated NGO suspended all its activities in the area soon after the incident. The Levies Force is looking into the matter. APP
