Cashier killed in robbery attempt

KHAIRPUR: A bank cashier was killed while four other employees were injured in a robbery attempt at a bank in district Khairpur.

Four gunmen forced their way into a bank in the middle of the city. When the security guard resisted the robbers opened fire on them. The bank manager, Shahbaz Danno, cashier Amir Bakhsh Mallah, security guard Ghulam Murtaza, and a customer, Sibghatullah, sustained bullet injuries and were taken to a hospital, where Mir Bakhsh succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the robbers managed to escape. Residents protested against the police after the incident.
