Malaika ended her 18-year-marriage with Arbaaz Khan last year in 2017

Bollywood stars Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan's divorce was the talk of town last year. The couple, who was considered to be the power couple of Indian cinema, decided to part ways after 18 years of marriage in 2016, reported Pinkvilla.

However, their divorce was finalised in July 2017. Since then, rumours of Malaika dating Mubarakan star Arjun Kapoor and later a businessman have been rife.

The actor, who recently appeared with her sister Amrita Arora on Neha Dhupia's chat show, Bffs with Vogue, revealed her relationship status, indirectly of course, during one of the game segments.

When Neha asked Malaika to reveal the last time she was single, Malaika, said, "Currently.” Well, we got the hint, Malaika! However, what really left us wanting to know more was that during another round, Malaika said that she feels she is lucky in love.

Meanwhile, Malaika has got the physical custody of their 14-year-old son Arhaan but Arbaaz has been granted access to him whenever he wants. A leading daily quoted a source saying that Malaika did not seek any alimony or property from Arbaaz. The two still remain cordial and are very much a part of each other's lives.

Earlier however, the Munni Badnaam queen received continuous flak on social media and was accused of living off her husband’s money. One Instagram user called her out for “having fun with the alimony”.

The post read, “This is what these shit women do these days. Marry a rich guy then divorce him for huge alimony. And then have fun with that alimony. Why do you need alimony if you are capable of earning. Her life now is all about wearing short clothes, going to the gym or salon and enjoying vacations.”
