Census: House count completed nationwide

ISLAMABAD: The Population Census Organization (PCO) of Statistics Division has completed the Housing Census 2011 operations for 6th National Population and House Census across the country.

Director General of Population Census Organisation Muhammad Akram Janjua said on Friday that the house listing operation had been conducted across the country excluding some conflict hit areas of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

He said the returning process of REM-1 forms, which contained details of family heads and members living in a house, has been initiated, while adding that the PCO has received all the forms from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
