HYDERABAD: In a gory incident of murder in Hyderabad, a woman was brutally killed and another critically injured on Thursday. The throats of the slain, Saba, wife of Atif Arain, and injured Nazo, wife of Kamran Arain, who is said to be in critical condition, were slit with a sharp object.

The family and local residents have ruled out resistance during theft or robbery to be the cause of the murder. The two women, who are relatives, were alone in the house in Bismillah City, Latifabad Unit 10, when the incident happened. In a similar incident in the same area on July 4, 2017, Advocate Dildar Qureshi's wife, 44-year-old Nafisa and 23-year-old daughter-in-law Faryal were killed in the same manner.
