The Intermediate annual exams will start from May 16, said Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Chairman (BIEK) Prof. Anwar Ahmedzai on Friday.
Addressing a press conference on the HSC part I and II annual examinations, he said that the board has set up 90 examination centres in different colleges of the city, 47 of which will be allocated for boys, and 43 for girls.
Examination forms can be submitted between May 9 and May 12, while admission cards will be issued on May 9. More than 145,697 candidates will appear in the first phase of HSC part I and II annual examinations; 621 of them will appear in Home Economics (regular) part I and II, 51,404 in Pre-Engineering (regular) part I and II, 31,775 in Pre-Medical (regular) part I and II, 61,897 in Commerce (regular) part I and II, while 35 candidates will appear in Medical Technology.
