MIRANSHAH: At least three people were killed in a US drone strike inside Afghanistan near its border with Pakistan’s North Waziristan Agency, officials in Miranshah said on Thursday.

The drone fired two missiles at a house, reportedly belonging to the militants linked to the Haqqani Network. The house was destroyed in the strike, according to reports from across the border.

North Waziristan’s political administration confirmed that the strike took place inside Afghanistan.
