T.Edit’s Guide To Valentine’s Day

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and we got thinking about how you and your loved one can make your day one to remember. Here’s a run-down of what we’ll be doing this Valentine’s Day and how you can make it special!



Kick-start the day with a scrumptious breakfast

First things first, a hearty breakfast and caffeine fix to kick-start the day with your loved one. Whether you opt for breakfast in bed or step out, we have you covered. We’re heading to Okra for their eggs benedict and their scones with clotted cream. For something a little easy on the pocket head to Pantry for their buttermilk cinnamon pancakes and fresh fruit waffles. If you’re in Lahore, head to Amu’s English Tea House.



Shop, shop, shop

There’s no better way to put a smile on your loved ones face than with a little retail therapy. For Karachiites, head over to Lucky One Mall or Dolmen Mall Clifton to check out the sales and grab a quick cup of coffee while you’re on the go. Those in Lahore, head to Emporium or Packages Mall for the best bargains, or to pick something up for your loved one.



Head to the movies

Make your way to the cinema to watch a movie with your loved one. If you’re in Lahore and want to take some time out to chill, head to Cine Star Cinema or Imperial Cinemas. In Karachi, we’re heading to Nueplex for some entertainment. Ps. If you haven’t seen Padmaavat yet you need to watch it pronto!



Make a pit stop for lunch

Because we’re such foodies, a quick stop for lunch is a must! In Karachi, we’re heading to Koel Café where we love the ambience and of course the food. In Lahore, we’re heading to either Eataly for their mouthwatering grilled chicken, or Veranda Bistro for their variety of pastas.



End the day with a delectable meal

Make your day a memorable one with a dinner date at one of your favourite restaurants. We have narrowed down our options to Cote Rotie, Café Flo or Fuchsia if you’re in the mood for romantic ambiance and great food. If you happen to be in Lahore and are looking for good places to dine at, then you can check out Cosa Nostra or Pompei  and if you’re looking for traditional flavours and a beautiful view, then Cuckoo’s Den is our top pick.



Make them feel special with a spa day

This Valentine’s Day make your better-half feel pampered and relaxed with a spa day! Make sure to book your appointment a few days in advance because it’s sure to get crowded. In Karachi, you can book appointments with The Rain Tree Spa, Bellagio by Sadaf, Blush or Toni and Guy for a variety of spa treatments. If you’re in Lahore, head over to Arammish Spa, Asma T Salon or Sunuba Spa.
