He further said that bail of influential culprits will be rejected if NAB deemed necessary. He distributed cheques of amount Rs304. 1 million rupees among victims of cases of double Shah elite town and Lahore garden scheme.

The role of regulators in the housing scandal is highly important, the chairman stressed. "Why do regulators observe silence when an advertisement is given in the newspaper," he questioned.
NAB will not tolerate anyone's negligence, Iqbal said. He reiterated that the bureaucracy can't run under any other entity's orders. He claimed that there will be "complete accountability" for dutiful people.
"There will be complete accountability for the wrong order givers and their complaint," he said. There is no supremacy in NAB, no special treatment, he claimed.

The chairman also reiterated that the bureau isn't hatching a 'conspiracy' against democracy. "We have not taken revenge nor will we," he said. Iqbal concluded with the quote, "don't be loyal for the ruler, be loyal to the masses."
