20 drug pushers caught

Police recovered large amounts of drugs and other valuables during several search operations

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested 20 drug pushers and recovered large amounts of drugs and other valuables from their possession during several search operations.

Police had recovered six guns, mobile phones and motorbikes from the possession of suspects. The police also recovered 1.8 litters alcohol and two kilogrammes of hashish from them.

In light of SSP Najeebur Rehman Bugvi directions to accelerate action against criminals, Sabzi Mandi police had arrested three suspects including Shah, Ata Khan and Irfan and recovered two pistols, five mobile phones and a motorbike from their possession.

Similarly, the Sihala police recovered 1.2 kilogrammes of hashish from suspects  Hidayatullah, Gulfaraz and Muhammad Aasiq.
