ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) was finalising a plan to install garbage electricity generation plant at a suitable place in the federal capital.

An official of the Capital Administration and Development Division said "A proposal is under consideration of Capital Development Authority to install a plant for generating electricity
from garbage."

He said that the project was in its planning phase. After undertaking the requisite feasibility, the project would be launched.

He said that the location proposed for the installation of plant is in Sector I-17, which would be an industrial sector.

Responding to a question, he said that proposal for repair of main double road from Golra Morr to Sector I-16 is under consideration. The construction work will be undertaken after allocation of funds.
