Development works: Road, sanitation projects completed

These schemes in Mohmand Agency will improve sanitation and provide transportation for 2,240 locals.

PESHAWAR: The government has completed the construction of two small bridges and the pavement of 12 streets in Garang and Ahmadi Kor Darra villages of Tehsil Pindiali in Mohmand Agency.

These bridges will connect Pindiali, Anmbar, Danish Kol, Lachai and Dawazai villages to other surrounding villages, directly benefiting thousands of locals.

According to a press release issued by FATA Secretariat, the political authorities built two nine by 1.7 metre wide bridges in Garang Village in Pindiali Tehsil. These bridges will connect Garang to the surrounding areas and would also restore access for the communities to schools and local markets.

The release added that in Ahmadi Kor Darra Village, 12 paved streets of 1,646 by three metres have also been paved along with the construction of 549 metres of drains, eleven culverts and a 183 metre long retaining wall.
