QUETTA: Pakistan Paramedical Staff Federation (PPSF), Balochistan chapter President Rehmatullah Dehwar has demanded of the Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to issue a notification regarding the ‘approved’ summary for paramedics, which had been lying vacant since long on the table of the previous government. According to a statement of the PPSF, the demands of the paramedics were submitted to the chief minister house after an organised campaign and in a summarised manner.

However, the government dealt the summary with blatant ignorance and did not release any notification regarding it. He lamented that the paramedics of Balochistan were subjected to ruthless deprivation and poverty even though the province had enough funds and resources. He appealed to the Balochistan Health Minister Abdul Majid Abro to take notice of the situation and get the notification released in light of the summary file sent for the paramedics. He also demanded upgradation of pay-scales, provision of risk and health professional allowances and extension in service structure of the paramedic staff working in health facilities and hospitals across the province.
