QUETTA: The All Balochistan Goods Transport Association (ABGTA) has appealed to the newly elected Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to take notice of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)-related issues faced by transporters. “Pressing problems of the goods transport industry employing hundreds of thousands of people must be addressed to ensure better performance of CPEC,” appealed the ABGTA delegation comprising of its chairman Noor Ahmed Kakar and members.

The delegation said, “Those involved in cargo services play a crucial role in the proposed project.” According to reports, the PC-1 of the Hazar Ganji new Truck Stop project, which plays a key role in CPEC, was completed five years ago. However, negligence of the previous government had resulted in zero progress of the project.
