The incident took place at a local marriage hall in the city at the wedding of Mohammad Siddique near Sherwani Chowk, Railway road.
According to the police, 10 armed men broke into the wedding hall and began robbing cash and gold jewellery from the women at the function.
Police officials arrived at the scene after an hour and registered an FIR on the report of Mohammad Siddique. Police are searching for the accused.
