Two women abducted from Karachi's Korangi area

According to eye-witness, women were kidnapped while standing on service road near Kala Pul

KARACHI: The police have registered a kidnapping case of two young women who were allegedly abducted from the Korangi Road. The case was registered on complaint of a woman against unidentified kidnappers.

According to Saddar SHO Shabbir Haider, a woman, H*, approached the police late Tuesday night about the kidnapping of two women near Kala Pul. The SHO added that the woman, in her statement to the police, said she was on her way to her office as per routine Tuesday morning on a rickshaw when the rickshaw broke down near Kala Pul.

The complainant claimed that she alighted the rickshaw and stood on a service road where two women were already standing. Suddenly, some unidentified persons, who were covering their faces, arrived on a high-roof and attempted to kidnap all three, the woman said, adding that the suspects left her due to her resistance but they took the other two women away with them.

Kidnapping case registered against NAB officials

According to SHO Haider, the police registered a case after receiving the complaint. The police have been looking for the families of the women allegedly kidnapped while further investigations are under way.
