PAF-KIET to take part in final in Beijing   

More than 80 teams from across the country participated in the event

LAHORE: A two-day international level multi-disciplinary event International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) West Asia Lahore Region contest was held on December 30-31, 2017 in Lahore. The event was organised under the auspices of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and headquartered at Baylor University, Texas. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programmes and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. More than 80 teams from across the country participated in the event, including four teams from PAF-Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (PAF-KIET). PAF-KIET students surprised everyone with their skills and won two gold medals and three shields. The overall winning trophy of ICPC 2017 was also awarded to the PAF-KIET.
