Police constables to get new training regimen

LAHORE: Training Additional IG Tariq Masood Yaseen has said steps are being taken to upgrade the standard of all police training colleges of the province and to alter the conventional culture.

“Training modules are being arranged in accordance to duties of personnel so they may perform their professional obligations more effectively. He further stated that all trainers were bound to behave courteously with personnel.

“If any trainer or housemaster is found abusing or admonishing a student without reason, disciplinary action will be taken against them.”

DIG Training Waqar Abbasi, Chief Law instructors from police training schools, psychologists from training institutions and delegates from the Safe City Authority, Dolphin Squad, Traffic Police and PITB also participated in the meeting.

In session training of new constables’ syllabus of basic recruit course has been analysed manifold.
