In the meantime, the Pakistan Muslim League - Functional (PML-F) has submitted an adjournment motion to discuss the killings of two Hindu brothers in Tharparkar.

Another adjournment motion, submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman, calls for holding debate in the assembly on the rise in street crime in Karachi. "The menace of street crime is affecting citizens of all socio-economic groups in the city and needs to be curbed immediately by police and law enforcement agencies," Zaman said, adding that since the matter was of public importance, the home minister must inform the House about actions taken by the government to clamp down on street crime.
