Kassim Parekh Classroom inaugurated

A legacy space was inaugurated in honour of the late banking legend at the Habib University

KARACHI: A legacy space by the name of Kassim Parekh Classroom was inaugurated in honour of the late banking legend at the Habib University. The inauguration ceremony was attended by HabibMetro Bank Chairman Mohamedali R. Habib President and CEO Sirajuddin Aziz, Habib University Chancellor Rafiq M. Habib and family of late Kassim Parekh. A portrait of Parekh, commissioned by HabibMetro Bank, was also unveiled at the event by Mrs Kassim Parekh. Speaking at the gathering, Mohamedali R. Habib said, "the donor space inaugurated today is in remembrance of our beloved Kassim Bhai, who is responsible for inspiring a generation of bankers. He lives on in our memory eternalising the values of dedication and integrity.
