Fire erupts in cotton factory

The fire engulfed the entire surroundings and burnt material worth millions of rupees

FAISALABAD: A cotton factory was reduced to ashes in the limits of Samanabad police station on Wednesday. The police said Abdur Rauf Cotton Factory situated in Mannan Town caught fire due to an electric short-circuit.

The fire engulfed the entire surroundings and burnt material worth millions of rupees. Meanwhile, a factory worker Iftikhar, 22, also received burn injuries in the incident and was shifted to the hospital.
