LAHORE: The Business Incubation Centre (BIC) and Office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) jointly organised UVAS students’ business start-up launching ceremony on Friday.

UVAS Vice Chancellor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the launching ceremony while Registrar Dr Muhammad Afzal, Director ORIC Dr Hafsa Zenab, Dr Shoaib Sarwar and a large number of students were present.

All the three startups are unique in their ideas and execution. Hassan is a business graduate and his idea (E-Darzi) is based on an android application on tailoring and delivering of stitched clothes on customer’s doorstep. Dr Adeel is a veterinarian who is committed to providing low cost hygienic food to the community and his idea (Kitchenette Café) is extracting a very good business from his newly-launched cafeteria on City Campus, while Sajjad who is also a business graduate, has changed his passion into profession by opting for photography and designing. His idea (90 X media) is growing rapidly at UVAS BIC.
