ISLAMABAD:
British High Commissioner Adam Thomson said that Britain has a deep commitment to work together with Pakistan towards greater democracy, security and prosperity, in a message on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 85th birthday and the royal wedding between Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleton. He said the Queen’s birthday is also an occasion to reflect on the ties that bind the two countries since Pakistan came into being shortly before Her Majesty became Queen and the enduring partnership between them has taken shape during her reign. “As Prime Minster David Cameron said in his recent trip to Pakistan: Every step of the way, we in Britain will be on your side, investing in your future, working with you,” he added.
