According to the Karachi Meteorological Office, the highest temperature for Wednesday was 29°C, which was recorded during the afternoon, while the lowest reading was 16.5°C, which was a few degrees warmer than Tuesday.
According to forecasts, daytime temperatures for Karachi will continue to climb until December 28. However, with high humidity in the atmosphere, the weather will remain moderately cool during the early morning and night.
Strong winds to continue in Sindh
According to the Met office, the recent change in temperature is reflected in the suspension of wind spells originating from the north and south. Winds alien to the city's weather patterns kept Karachi in haze for over a week, also bringing in the first rain of the season.
Winds directed from the sea have completely died down, the Meteorological department reported. A newly formed weather system is, however, expected to hit the region soon but its impact on rainfall or temperature has yet to be determined.
