Three labourers die of asphyxia

MUZAFFARABAD: Three people died people were found dead in their room on Tuesday.

According to initial investigations, the three labourers Nazir Ahmad, Zaheer Ahmad and Khurshid Ahmad all in their twenties, had gone to sleep in their room leaving the coal stove burning and no window open for ventilation.

“The trio from Sirlisacha area of Muzaffarabad died of lack of oxygen in their sleep,” a police official said.

Their bodies were discovered whern they did not show up for work and one of their collegues went to call them. When banging on the door did not help, people got alarmed and broke in only to find the
trio dead.

Police shifted the bodies to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Hospital for autopsy.
