Crackdown PEPCO hunting down power thieves

PESCO crackdown against defaulters in Peshawar city, Charsadda and Shabqadar divisions is in full swing.

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electricity Supply Company’s (PESCO) crackdown against defaulters and power thieves in Peshawar city, cantonment, rural areas, Charsadda and Shabqadar divisions is in full swing.

During the cleanup drive, the company has so far recovered an amount of Rs50 million, removed 2,908 direct hooks (used to steal electricity) and lodged 323 FIRs against offenders with concerned police stations.
