They suffered an electric shock and fell down before losing consciousness. The victims were identified as Muhammad Khan, Wali Muhammad and Fakhar Hayat, all were residents of Pakpattan. In her resolution, she said that it was regrettable that no concrete measures were taken for the safety of labourers.
Six workers electrocuted in 24 hours
She pointed out neither the said companies that dealt in the installment of signboards, were registered nor had they any proper equipment for the safety of the labourers. She added that employees of the companies were not insured. She demanded the government to request these companies to register themselves and provide financial assistance to the legal heirs of the deceased.
