Two gunned down in Sargodha

The police have registered cases and started investigation

SARGODHA: Two people were gunned down in different incidents in Sargodha on Monday.

A police official said that Muhammad Irfan, a resident of Chak No 133/SB, had borrowed Rs5,000 from his friend Muhammad Adeel which led to a quarrel between the friends. In a fit of rage, Irfan shot at and killed Adeel over the issue.

In another incident, Akram along with his four accomplices gunned down their rival Saif Ullah, 22, over a property dispute while he was working at Dera Muhammad Hussain in Jhookpur Bangla.

The bodies were handed over to the families after legal formalities.

The police have registered cases and started investigation.

A man was killed while three others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Jhal Chakian and Jauhrabad police limits.

The police said that Zaheer Abbas, a resident of Sargodha City, was riding a motorcycle when it crashed into a tree.

As a result, he died on the spot. The police said the victim was trying to save a pedestrian near Chak 92 Morh.

Police foil 10-year-old girl's marriage

In another incident, Hassan, Muhammad Shahzad and Akbar were injured when two motorcycles collided near a local bank in Jauhrabad. The injured were shifted to THQ hospital for treatment.
