State of the art: LGH acquires modern equipment

Professor of Urology Dr Nazir said the treatment would become a ray of hope for the patients

LAHORE: Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has acquired a state-of-the-art machine for the treatment of patients of bipolar turp. The machine will also provide low cost and effective treatment to the heart patients who already have artificial cardiac pacemaker. This state-of-the-art machine, acquired with an amount of Rs3 million from donations, for the Lahore General Hospital with the special efforts of Dr Mohammad Nazir who has completed four successful operations with this machine and patients have fully recovered. Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Dr Ghiasun Nabi Tayyab said the bipolar turp would be low cost and more beneficial for the patients. He also lauded the efforts of Dr Nazir and said in LGH many achievements have been made in different sectors and maximum medical facilities were being provided to the patients not only from Lahore district but from all over the Punjab. Professor of Urology Dr Nazir said the treatment would become a ray of hope for the patients.
