Water works: 50 water plants for Faisalabad

            Fifty water filtration plants are to be installed in Faisalabad at an estimated cost of Rs300 million by May 31. District Coordination Officer (DCO) Naseem Sadiq called in a press conference on Monday and said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was taking a keen interest in providing potable drinking water to residents in the district. On the directives of the chief minister, 50 water filtration plants will be installed in Faisalabad by the end of May and paperwork is being completed to provide another 150 water filtration plants for the distract. The DCO said that the water filtration plants would be installed at union council level and each plant had the capacity to filter 4,000 gallons water in an hour.
