200 bags of fish feed seized over poor quality

The owner was illegally using brand name of another feed mill located in the province

SARGODHA: Livestock and dairy development department seized a truck load of 200 bags of poor quality animal and fish feed in Sargodha. The officials also sealed an oil manufacturing mill full of expired raw material.

Livestock Deputy Director Tanveer said that cotton seed cakes were needed in animal feed but the oil mill owner was involved in making fake and expired feed.

It was being prepared with waste material, expired stuff and some grains already declared dangerous for animal health. The owner was illegally using brand name of another feed mill located in the province. He said that samples were sent to a laboratory for further investigations.
