ISLAMABAD: The Minister of State for Human Rights Barrister Usman Ibrahim on Thursday emphasised the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and rules to promote and protect the rights of working women living in hostels of the capital.

He recommended that a Project Concept-1 for renovating the main building of the hostel in Sector G-6/3 should be prepared.

Ibrahim issued these directions while presiding over a meeting on the operations of the Working Women Hostel in Sector G-6/3.

In this regard, he directed to take action against the defaulter tenants according to SOPs and rules. He also emphasised to administer it in a good and more refined way.

Ministry of Human Rights Joint Secretary Humaira Azam Khan and Working Women Hostel Manager Saira Furqan briefed the minister about the issues faced by the hostel and measures to tackle those issues.
