Qurram Hussain from the JOSH band is back in the limelight after singing a qawwali for the upcoming movie Rangreza, starring Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf, Alyzeh Gabol and Gohar Rasheed. The song called Janasheen is all set to be released ahead of the movie on December 21. We can’t wait to listen to his melodious voice!
Verna releases throughout Pakistan
Mahira Khan-starrer and Shoaib Mansoor’s directorial Verna landed in trouble with the censor board recently because of its bold content. The film was unable to get a clearance certificate from Pakistan’s Federal Censor Board after which, the Lahore premiere was cancelled. Public and celebrities took to different social media forums to speak against the decision including the likes of Deepika Padukone, Adnan Malik, Wasim Akram and others. After much deliberation, the movie has now been cleared by Sindh and Punjab both and will be shown worldwide.

Shahrukh Khan all set to produce a Netflix series
King Khan of Bollywood is on his away to another milestone in his career by signing a co-production deal with Netflix Series. The renowned film star’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has partnered with Netflix to bring out a multilingual series based on the book Bard of Blood. Written by young Indian author Bilal Siddiqi, the story will be brought to life in a series of eight episodes.

Humaima Malick breaks silence on cyberbullying
Movie star Humaima Malick raised her voice against cyberbullying and shared her concerns on the matter recently. “I’ve been receiving threats for months now and it’s time that such harassers get called out openly in public. They shouldn’t be masked and we can’t let these noxious villains get away with harassment,” she told The Express Tribune. The Arth – The destination star spoke about the issue at Kinnaird College to raise awareness and urge young girls to speak up rather than staying quiet if they are being harassed.
