PLA Head Rai Zohaib Asghar, while taking to The Express Tribune, said that it was highly unfortunate that over 15,000 employees of PLD had been working on an ad-hoc basis and a permanent service structure was absent. He explained that the employees were hired for project implementation and when the initiative was completed, they had to re-apply for the job. “In the process, many employees were expelled or terminated from the job,” he added.
