On the night before his much-awaited concert in India, Shape of You hit-maker Ed Sheeran partied away with the who's who of Bollywood. The guest list includes Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Shahid Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Mira Rajput, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Aftab Shivdasani and Neha Dhupia.

The British singer, songwriter and music producer was dressed casually in a checked shirt teamed with camouflage pants and a pair of spectacles at the party, organised by ace choreographer and filmmaker Farah herself.

The social media accounts of Bollywood celebrities were splashed with photographs and videos from the party. In one video, Farah is seen shaking a leg with Sheeran on Shape of You.

"Life is great when Ed Sheeran loves the shape of me," Farah tweeted along with the video.

Bhumi tweeted, "Oh yah!!! Fan girl moment with Ed Sheeran. Thank you Farah Khan for such an amazing night .You're the best."

Aftab also said he had a great evening and gave his best wishes to Ed for the concert.

Farah's brother and filmmaker Sajid Khan also wrote, "Trust my sister Farah Khan to throw the party of the year with the star of the year, Ed Sheeran who is extremely sweet and humble."

Neha, who attempted a selfie, wrote, "A world famous musician stuck with a dissatisfied selfie clicker... Thank you Ed Sheeran for your music, more importantly for your patience! Fan girl."

As for the concert, the A-Team singer - dressed in blue kurta and jeans - touched all the right cords to make thousands of fans sing their lungs out. Addressing the audience as "one of the loudest crowds," the Galway Gal famed Ed expressed his excitement for coming back to Mumbai.

"I think I got the most enthusiast crowd over here when I came to Mumbai two years ago. I was longing to be here, to see you guys who are going to sing along with me," he said.

Ed took the stage with fans' favourite Castle on the Hill followed by chartbusters like Eraser, Bloodstream, Happier and Perfect to which the crowd sang along to its fullest.

After performing for over an hour, everyone started wondering when he will sing the all-time crowd favourite Shape of You. The pop star teased them saying, "So guys, this is going to be the last song of the day. I loved coming back here and had a wonderful time" and followed it with a performance of You Need Me, I Don't Need You.

And then, for a moment, the audience appeared silent as he left the stage. Before things got awkward  though, Ed came back flaunting the Indian cricket jersey singing, "The club isn't the best place to find a lover, so the bar is where I go," and that was perhaps the loudest moment of the night. He also shared a photo of the Mumbai crowd on his Instagram handle.
