FAISALABAD: Unidentified robbers shot and killed an Imam of a mosque in the Jaranwala Saddar police station precincts on Sunday.

Police officials said that seven armed bandits forced entry into Qari Amanullah’s house in Chak No233-GB. The men took the entire  family hostage at gunpoint and stole Rs250,000, 25-tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables from the house.
