According to residents, the only female doctor working in basic health resigned two weeks ago and no new doctor has been hired to replace her. Female patients have expressed concern over the issue and have demanded that the district health department hire a female doctor for the unit immediately. Several patients are not travelling to Rahim Yar Khan for a medical check-up.
