Film-maker Karan Johar on Wednesday confirmed that he has cast veteran actor Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter in his upcoming production Dhadak.

Sridevi is excited about her daughter's debut.

In an interview to IANS, she had said that she is "mentally more prepared than" Janhvi for it.

"She has been watching me, and knows what she is getting into. Nothing is going to be a cakewalk in any profession. So you have to work hard, and there will be challenges. I'm sure she is ready for it," she had said.

“She has chosen this path and profession, and I have been in this industry for long. So I am mentally more prepared than her. She has been watching me, and knows what she is getting into.”

Dharak is all set to hit the screens on July 6 next year.

Bunny Rabbit | 6 years ago | Reply given the history of star kids making it " big " in the past 2 decades , I would keep my fingers crossed about these 2 .
