LAHORE: More than 100 lecturers at the Punjab University are teaching subjects which are not relevant to their academic qualifications.

Associate Professor Dr Afeera completed her PhD in Urdu but is instead teaching communication.

Dr Arshad Javed and Dr Ghazala Naseem have both have a PhD in Botany, but are part of the agriculture department instead of the horticulture one.

Many students have raised concerns against the blatant mismanagement.

Registrar Dr Muhammad Akhtar claims the university expects to open new departments to facilitate various teachers but lack of funds have their hands tied.
