The protesters said that the administration did not pay them before the upcoming religious festival as promised.
“We were expecting to be paid before Easter, so we could celebrate with our families. The administration has failed to keep its word,” said a hospital nurse Annie.
The hospital workers have appealed to the Punjab chief minister to pay them their salaries before Easter.
