Abducted: MQM worker implicates police

FAISALABAD: Police officials have registered a case against three men, including two cops, for abducting a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker on Thursday.

Police officials registered cases against two police officers, Sub Inspector Muhammad Aslam and ASI Sana Ullah and Rahim for breaking into the unit office of the MQM in Satellite Town, Chak No225 RB and abducting unit in-charge Muhammad Anwar.

A case has been registered on the complaint of Muhammad Anwar, who alleged that he was present in the unit office when the police officers entered the office and forcibly abducted him along for possessing a licensed gun.

No police official has been arrested so far but a case has been arrested and police are searching for the accused.
