ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has cancelled the approval for layout plan of Grace Valley Housing Scheme, Zone-V, on failure to submit deed of the land.

The layout plan of Grace Valley Housing Scheme sponsored by Grace Valley Pvt Ltd was approved by CDA over an area measuring 404.86 Kanals having 392 residential plots at Mouza Rawat and Kortna, Zone-V Islamabad in July 2012.

Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Ansar Aziz said the authority was taking strict action against encroachments and housing societies not fulfilling prescribed criteria. “No deviation from rules will be tolerated at any cost in this regard and the strict action will continue without fear or favour,” Mayor Aziz said.

According to a CDA statement, ever since approval of the layout plan, the authority had been asking the sponsors to submit their mortgage and transfer deed for the land and the requisite processing fee for transfer of property.

The sponsors of Grace Valley were further advised to submit the revenue papers including fards, aks shajrah, NOC of new link road purchased by sponsors to link the scheme area with GT Road, the statement said adding, Grace Valley Pvt Ltd failed to submit these documents.  The authority has decided to withdraw the approval for the layout plan of Grace Valley Housing Scheme under the provision of Clause 5(ii), Chapter-IV of ICT (Zoning) Regulations, 1992.
