Corruption worth millions of rupees in various clean drinking water schemes was uncovered

LAHORE: Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab (ACEP) arrested an acting project manager of the Punjab Saaf Pani Company (PSPC) over alleged corruption worth millions of rupees in various clean drinking water schemes.

The ACEP officials raided the PSPC office on Tuesday and arrested Acting Project Manager PSPC Malik Waris. They also interrogated various company officials and seized official records related to procurement, contracts and appointments. Speaking to The Express Tribune, an ACEP officer said during investigation and examination of official records of the establishment, some concrete evidences against various PSPC officials have been found.
